Navigation simulator

Navigation simulator NTPro 4000 manufactured by company "TRANSAS" includes a place for an instructor and 4 working places (bridge) for trainees.

The simulator allows to receive the information about the course, movement speed  of vessels-targets, simulate the conning of the vessel, procedures for mooring, search and rescue, radar plotting.

 

Vessel conning display

The program is the multipage display intended for vessel conning on the navigating bridge.

The display contains the following pages

Virtual bridge conning display

The program is intended for simulation of displays of the following types of radars:

- BridgeMaster (Racal Decca);

- BridgeMaster E (Litton Marine Systems);

- FR2100 (Furuno);

- Nucleus 2 (Kelvin Hughes).

Video signal is simulated in conformity with «Model of radar signal» specification.

The following turning of a video signal is simulated:

- Gain;

- Sea clutter;

- Rain clutter;

- Frequency tuning.

Electronic cartographic system (ECDIS)

The program is intended for simulation of radar display picture displayed on  EKS (ECDIS Navi Sailor) display.

Video signal is simulated in conformity with «Model of radar signal» specification.

The module of automatic targets lock-on and tracking (Target extractor) is simulated.

Radio personnel simulator (Global marine distress communication)

GMDSS TGS-4100 Simulator manufactured by "TRANSAS" company includes a workplace for an instructor and 8 workplaces for trainees, two of which are supplied with operating panels of devices.

 

Main menu of operator's workplace

The simulator gives the following opportunities:

- control  all devices of ship's GMDSS radio station;

- simulation of a radio communication in  telephony, telex and DCC modes taking into account the distribution of radio waves;

- availability of electronic chart containing base of coastal stations and  identification of ship's current position;

- display of GMDSS sea areas, search and rescue areas, and also radiowaves distribution ranges;

- setting of external active woofers to keep listening watch on several channels;

- an opportunity of setting of TGS4000 console to real control panels VHF&DSC RT4822, MF/HF&DSC НС4500, Inmarsat-C Н2095С, Battery Panel ВР4680 (in a mode of simulation of  SAILOR System 4000 radio equipment).

GMDSS training class-room is in addition supplied with NAVTEKS operating receivers, portable VHF radio station, COSPAS-SARSAT emergency radio beacon, radar responder.

Ship's propulsion installation simulator (engine room)

The simulator of ship's propulsion installation (Engine Room Simulator - ERS-2000 manufactured by "TRANSAS" company) is intended for training and to obtain watchkeeping practical skills in the engine boiler room and control room on board of highly automated ships (А1, А2 classes), and also for knowledge test of ship's engineers in conditions of regular and non-regular modes of operation and presence of malfunctions.

The training class-room consists of a place for an instructor and 8 places for trainees.  The main ship's propulsion installation with operated systems, ship's refrigerating machinery, ship's power plant, auxiliary systems and machinery, signalling and protection systems are simulated on each trainee's place.

 

Main ship's propulsion installation

Ship diesel propulsion installation simulator is produced in two variants:

- On the basis of 2-stroke slow-speed reversing main engine (prototype of MAN B&W 6S60MC, 12240 kW, 195 r.p.m.), controllable pitch screw;

- On the basis of 4-stroke middle non-reversing main engine (prototype of SEMT Pielstick 16 PC2.2V-400, 5966 kW, 520 r.p.m.), controllable pitch screw through reduction gear.

 

Ship's refrigerating plant

 

Ship's refrigerating plant simulator consists of the following systems:- fresh water cooling system is intended for cooling cylinders, cylinders covers, casing of gas-exhaust  part of the main engine (ME) and auxiliary engines (AE) turbo compressor.- The system is intended for cooling oil, fresh water and supercharging air of the main engine, air compressors, shaft bearings and other equipment. Seawater is pumped through the corresponding equipment and dumped over board. At low sea water temperature  (below 10 °С) it's partial re-circulation is used.

Ship's power plant

 

 

Ship's power plant simulator is intended for training of transport merchant watchkeeping engineer to obtain working skills and competent operation of  ship's power system, including:

-       preparation and putting into operation machinery and systems;

-       monitoring their operation according to changing parameters by means of signalling system;

-       detection and troubleshooting actions.

In addition to the practical skills training, the simulator allows to understand the main principles of operation and interrelation of ship's power systems elements better.

Auxiliary systems and machinery

 

Auxiliary systems and machinery simulator is a set of independent simulators, including a simulator of ship's distilling plant, called in general systems.

Cargo ballast and technological operations on tankers simulator

Mathematical model

Cargo ballast and technological operations on tankers LCHS-2000 simulator  manufactured by " TRANSAS " company includes a place for an instructor and 6 working places for trainees.

Simulators are unique means for preparation of personnel of tankers, capable to carry out the functions safely and effectively.

The simulator allows to study operations on:

- oil tankers;

- gas tankers of LPG type ;

- chemical tankers.

These simulators are manufactured in full conformity with IMO Model Courses and intended for:

- study the construction of a tanker,  it's supply with technical means and systems;

- training in systems and units control;

- study devices and operation of parameters monitoring system and signalling system;

- training in correct performance of technological operations in standard and emergency situations, including operations of calculation of stability and strength.

Graphic interface optimized for understanding of principles of all system operation and to obtain practical skills in trainees' operation with the equipment plays the great role.

Mathematical model of used vessel during the performance of stability and strength tasks, is used onboard of hundreds ships all over the world.

It is possible to choose various types of cargoes from an existing database of  simulator.
